The Operational Excellence, Digitalization, Lean & Green department is responsible for the strategic direction, transformation, efficiency management, and project control. Together, we significantly drive digitalization, innovation & sustainability, and Lean Management initiatives in the global production network for all organizational units.

The Efficiency Management @ VAN/O team controls and coordinates the entire continuous improvement process for personnel costs within the VAN production. The scope includes not only the global production network with locations in the USA, Spain, Germany, and Poland, but also cross-functional areas such as Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality. VAN/OPE actively shapes the current transformation both strategically and in its implementation.

·      Further development of planning methods, KPIs, and reports for managing personnel requirements.

·      Key Account for ePK planning methods and optimization, including actively promoting best practice exchange.

·      Conducting ad-hoc analyses to derive recommendations for action to improve business processes and support decision-making processes.

·      Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to solve complex problems.

·      Independent preparation and execution of strategic and/or operational (hybrid) workshops at all hierarchical levels to effectively advance cross-plant efficiency projects.

·      Preparation of decisions and project progress reports for steering committees & top management – including professional and audience-appropriate presentation of content.

·      Driving the introduction and implementation of standardization of methods, key figures, and processes within VAN/O.

Professional Qualifications:

·      Completed business administration/technical degree or in a related field.

·      Several years of professional experience in production and/or a production-related area, as well as in carrying out optimization projects, ideally in a production environment.

·      In-depth methodological knowledge in the area of production KPIs and processes, as well as industrial engineering.

·      Methodological knowledge and practical experience in project management.

·      Good to very good English language skills, both written and spoken; a second foreign language is an advantage.

·      Mobility and willingness to travel worldwide for project assignments (usually weekly) to various locations.
