 Job Overview:

Lead cross-functional teams and manage high stake projects with significant organizational impact ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Develops project management methodologies and drives continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage medium to large scale projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and successful delivery of outcomes.
• Develop strategic project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resource requirements and timelines, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring all team members are aligned with project goals.
• Implement and oversee organization wide KPI quality control processes.
• Identify and manage risks and issues developing mitigation strategies.
• Assist management in the coordination of budget determinations and expenditure tracking.
• Initiate escalation of critical process deviations and measures to ensure goals are met.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and methodologies.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of all project activities, including plans, progress reports, meeting minutes, and post-project evaluations.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) to track project performance, providing regular reports to stakeholders and making data-driven decisions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance & Controlling, Supply Chain, Logistics, Project Management, or a related field required, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.

Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC (“MBV”) is a plant in Ladson, South Carolina that assembles Sprinter vans for the U.S. and Canadian market under the brand Mercedes-Benz. The midsize Mercedes-Benz Metris vans are also reassembled at this location.

 

Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC has invested more than 500 million U.S. dollars in the new Sprinter plant, which officially opened in 2018. Today the MBV facility provides more than 1,600 jobs and supports at least 600 additional jobs in the region through its suppliers. More than 200,000 Sprinter and Metris vans have been assembled in North Charleston and delivered to destinations across the U.S. since 2006. Therefore, MBV celebrates a 15-year legacy of SKD production in 2021. The U.S. is the second largest market for Sprinter vans, after Germany.
