ART Performance & Efficiency (MxS Accountability)
- Acting as a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART)
- Facilitate and lead PI Planning and all key ART ceremonies (ART Sync, Scrum of Scrums, System Demo, Inspect & Adapt), ensuring alignment between business goals and product vision.
- Maintain and improve flow, predictability, and collaboration across all teams in the Agile Release Train.
- Promoting continuous improvement by driving Inspect & Adapt workshops, root-cause analysis, and improvement action plans
- Foster a DevOps and Continuous Delivery culture, supporting integration between cloud-based pipelines and on-premises testing.
- End-to-end responsibility for the efficiency and performance of the Agile Release Train in alignment with MxS targets.
- Monitor and improve key flow metrics (predictability, throughput, quality, stability) and derive structured improvement initiatives.
- Ensure sustainable delivery performance across internal teams and suppliers.
Stakeholder & Organizational Leadership
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and impediments, ensuring smooth delivery across teams and suppliers.
- Partner with Product Management, System Architects, and engineering leads to align strategy, architecture, and execution.
- Strong stakeholder management across business, product management, system architecture, and external suppliers.
- Indirect leadership responsibility for an organization of ~180 people within the ART.
- Act as escalation point for cross-team, cross-department, and supplier-related challenges.
- Provide transparency to senior leadership on ART performance, risks, and strategic dependencies.
Line Management Qualification
- Lead and develop a team of Scrum Masters within the Release Train.
- Conduct regular coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews, supporting each Scrum Master’s growth journey.
- Ensure consistent application of Agile and SAFe practices across teams.
- Build a strong Scrum Master community of practice, encouraging knowledge exchange and continuous improvement.
- Support Scrum Masters in navigating challenges, stakeholder interactions, and organizational changes.
- Align with department leadership on capacity planning, training needs, and talent development.
This is a formal line management position.
- Proven experience in leading people (e.g., Scrum Masters or equivalent roles) is required.
- BE/ME in Electrical or Electronics or equivalent
- Knowledge about Automotive EE product development in general, exposure to intercultural concerns, excellent communication skills, and fluent English, good leadership skills. German language skills would be added advantage.
- Proven experience in leading cross function and global teams
- SAFe Certifications would be desirable
