Program Management, Intelligence Content Management & Rollout
Tasks

Position Overview

This role is a strategic program management position focused on shaping the company’s transition toward Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV). The role is responsible for establishing and driving a full-lifecycle in-vehicle software management framework covering planning, development, release, OTA deployment, and post-launch evolution. It requires strong cross-functional capability across product, architecture, R&D, validation, aftersales, and business teams to enable sustainable software iteration, robust governance, and scalable delivery throughout the vehicle lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish an end-to-end in-vehicle software lifecycle management framework
Define and implement a structured full-life cycle governance model covering demand planning, baseline development, SOP readiness, post-launch OTA evolution, and retirement/closure. Align key milestones across infotainment, ADAS, Body, Chassis, Connectivity, and other relevant vehicle domains to ensure coordinated planning, development, validation, and release at vehicle level.
  • Drive early-stage E/E architecture review for sustainable software evolution
Contribute to early evaluation of vehicle E/E architecture concepts, including computing capacity, network bandwidth, power distribution, and service-oriented architecture readiness. Ensure that hardware and platform decisions adequately support long-term software iteration, OTA scalability, and future feature deployment while reducing downstream rework and cost risk.
  • Own software baseline and version governance across the vehicle portfolio
Define software baseline management principles and establish version governance mechanisms for SOP releases and subsequent OTA branches across model years and variants. Ensure traceability and control of dependencies, change requests, release freezes, phased rollout, rollback, and recovery mechanisms across major in-vehicle software domains
  • Lead end-to-end OTA planning and release delivery
Own OTA roadmap planning and release coordination on a monthly and quarterly basis. Partner with product, R&D, quality, sales, aftersales, and other stakeholders to translate market, customer, and business needs into feasible software release plans and vehicle feature evolution roadmaps.
  • Coordinate large-scale cross-functional programs and process transformation
Lead alignment across architecture, software development, testing, backend, aftersales, marketing, and related teams to address legacy process constraints and enable software-centric vehicle delivery. Integrate multiple workstreams, including OTA execution, vehicle and mobile app coordination, and supporting digital tools, to establish a consistent operating rhythm and closed-loop delivery model.
  • Define the top-level planning approach for intelligent feature evolution
Establish standardized end-to-end processes for intelligent feature management, including demand intake, prioritization, planning governance, release scheduling, and OTA deployment. Drive continuous improvement of methods, standards, and decision-making mechanisms to support scalable feature iteration throughout the vehicle lifecycle.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Basic Qualification
    - Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Automotive Engineering, Electronic & Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Professional Experience
    - At least 5 years of experience in automotive software program management, preferably in areas such as in-vehicle software, E/E architecture, cockpit, ADAS, connectivity, or OTA delivery.
    - Experience in full-lifecycle software management, OTA operations, or SDV transformation within an OEM, Tier 1, or leading intelligent EV environment is strongly preferred.
  • Core Competency
    - Strong understanding of SDV architecture principles, including centralized or zonal E/E architecture, service-oriented design, and software-hardware decoupling concepts.
    - Good knowledge of OTA operating models and release mechanisms, including incremental update strategies, staged rollout, rollback control, and update risk mitigation.
    - Proven ability to design and implement new governance processes, management mechanisms, and review standards, rather than only executing predefined project plans.
    - Solid understanding of relevant automotive compliance and engineering requirements, including functional safety, cybersecurity, and software update governance.
    - Strong cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical capability, with the ability to structure business demands into clear product and software iteration plans and drive alignment across multiple delivery streams.
  • Soft Skills
    - Strategic and systematic thinking, with the ability to drive long-cycle software transformation in a complex organizational environment.
    - Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills, with a strong sense of ownership and end-to-end delivery accountability. Experience working across regional and global teams is an advantage.
