Main tasks:
1 1. Insurance
- Manages and coordinates insurance policies related to the company fleet
2 2. Procurement :
- Ensure the implementation of the global Procurement of NPM policies within Mercedes-Benz Egypt & It’s subsidiaries. “B63 & C174”
- Develop Local guideline/process with a clear strategy when purchasing goods and services aligned with Egyptian Market standards & law starting from the supplier selection to the payment according to MB standards.
Daily procurement:
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities in line with company policies and business needs.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and project teams to ensure clear specifications and alignment, proactively addressing issues and concerns.
- Lead RFQ processes, evaluate supplier proposals, and negotiate pricing, terms, and quality.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; monitor performance across cost, quality, and delivery.
- Identify and assess potential new suppliers to support business needs.
- Resolve day-to-day procurement issues, including order discrepancies and invoice mismatches.
- Monitor procurement timelines and implement improvements to address delays and bottlenecks.
- Support process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Conduct financial analysis for tenders and prepare regular savings and performance reports.
Daily support for SWT users:
- Manage invoice logs.
- Maintain supplier registration and data management.
- Support procurement system users by resolving issues and coordinating with relevant teams.
- Handle the creation and processing of departmental purchase requisitions.
Internal Control/Quality/ISO:
- Ensure compliance with defined internal controls process.
- Support annual Internal and external audit
Qualifications:
1- Educational Background
- Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration or Engineering.
2- Technical knowledge
- Good understanding of purchasing principles.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with purchasing systems (SAP preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong working knowledge of PowerPoint are required.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence others.
