Key Responsibilities:• Execute CFD simulations for multiphase flows (VOF) to support advanced painting applications.
• Perform Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT) analyses for oven-related engineering use cases.
• Use Abaqus to compute and evaluate forces acting on vehicle structures.
• Develop data-driven models to predict temperature profiles during the drying process.
• Design and implement toolbars and automation features for the Metapost application.
• Automate post-processing workflows for simulation tasks.
• Research, develop, and implement novel simulation methods, including meshless approaches and integration into Digital Twin platforms.
• 10+ years of experience in CFD/CAE simulations.
• Strong expertise in STAR-CCM+ and Abaqus.
• Strong theoretical knowledge in FEM and CFD.
• Experience developing and deploying ML models using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Strong understanding of ML concepts, statistics, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python with strong problem-solving and algorithmic-thinking skills.
• Experience deploying AI-assisted simulation tools (CI/CD, version control, Docker, MLflow).
• Background in SciML: reduced-order modeling, surrogate modeling, uncertainty quantification.
• Experience integrating AI into CAE workflows (STAR-CCM+, Abaqus, custom pipelines).
• Familiarity with PINNs, operator learning, and physics–ML frameworks (DeepXDE, NVIDIA Modulus).
• Strong German language skills (B2, business fluent).
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing product decisions.
• Experience developing novel simulation methods.
• PhD in Computational Engineering

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace Engineering, or Data Science with a foundation in Computational Engineering
• Experience with meshless simulation methods, digital twin integration, and CAE-AI workflows.
• Exposure to global engineering projects and distributed teams.
