Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI), headquartered in Bengaluru with a satellite office in Pune, is the largest R&D center for Mercedes-Benz Group AG outside of Germany. Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Experience analyzing schematics, electrical/electronic components in the automotive domain.
- Skilled in creating wiring diagrams using E3 Cable or AutoCAD.
- Experienced in developing wiring schematics related to electrical/electronic component functions.
- Proficient in analyzing automotive electronic/electrical tools and systems with knowledge of DIN standards.
- Expertise in creating wiring lists, schematic diagrams, and block diagrams for electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with high voltage components and circuits.
- Experience in 3D Master and 3D harness development.
- Good understanding of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, FlexRay, and Ethernet.
- Knowledge of German language is an added advantage.
- Software proficiency:
- Creation of schematics in AutoCAD, E3 Cable, etc.
- Familiarity with PLM, PDM, and CAD tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Required Skills & Experience:
· 8+ years in automotive electrical/electronic schematic analysis
· Proficient in wiring diagrams using E3 Cable, AutoCAD
· Experience with high voltage components and 3D harness development
· Knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet) and DIN standards
· Skilled in PLM, PDM, CAD tools, and Microsoft Office
· German language skills a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Instrumentation, or Automobile Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
- German language proficiency
- Experience with advanced automotive communication protocols
- Familiarity with additional CAD/PLM software tools
- Background in automotive safety standards and regulations
- Prior work experience in international automotive projects
