Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, publish, and manage Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets while ensuring best-practice performance tuning.
• Design and build effective data models (star/snowflake schemas) and implement advanced DAX calculations for KPIs, time intelligence, and business logic.
• Perform ETL and data preparation using Power Query (M), SQL, Python, and other tools to ensure clean and reliable datasets.
• Implement Dynamic Row-Level Security (RLS) and apply Power BI security best practices.
• Work with MS Fabric, dataflows, workspace management, and app deployments.
• Integrate data from SQL Server, SharePoint Online, Excel, REST APIs, Databricks, and other data sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality BI solutions while documenting and presenting insights effectively.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, SQL, Power Query, data modeling, and Python.
• Experience working with MS Fabric, Power BI service features, and dataflows.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data ecosystem (ADLS, Key Vault, Azure Functions, ADF, Databricks).
• Proficiency in integrating APIs and validating them using tools like Postman.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills with the ability to work under deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Additional certifications (if any): Power BI, Azure Data Engineering, or relevant analytics certifications.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
• Experience in the automotive domain.
• Knowledge of Mendix application development.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Typescript, and Angular.
• Familiarity with tools such as Tabular Editor and DAX Studio.
