PGET Conversion - Function developer for Shift-by-wire and Park-by-wire functions for eDrive and Hybrid vehicles
Tasks

Title

Function developer for Shift-by-wire and Park-by-wire functions for eDrive and Hybrid vehicles.

 

Responsibilities

- To define the functional requirements of Shift-by-wire and Park-by-wire functions from System requirements.

- To create and manage the change requests based on the issues and new features.

- To develop Simulink/Targetlink models from functional requirements and to perform auto code generation.

- To make functional description documentation and vehicle manual relevant documentation.

- Prepare and manage the calibration data related to assigned functions.

- To review the functional requirements of peer functions and models.

- Coordinate deliveries with the relevant deadlines according to project milestones.

- Coordinate with release managers, line managers, and project stakeholders regarding the changes in the functions.

- To moderate the meetings with project stakeholders.

- To support the derivation of the test specification and implement test cases/execute the test cases.

- To review the test specification and test results from functional testing.

- To validate the developed functions on various platforms (MIL/SIL/Integrated SIL/HIL/Vehicle).

- To analyze and track the issues of Shift-by-wire and Park-by-wire functions.

- To analyze and troubleshoot software and system issues from field,  vehicle, and HIL/SIL Testing.

 

Technical Skills

- Experience in

a) Model-based engineering with Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, and Targetlink.

b) Requirement engineering – requirement elicitation and management.

c) Working in software development life cycles (SDLC).

d) Knowledge of automotive specifically Vehicle powertrain.

e) Knowledge of  automatic transmission system

f) Knowledge of parking pawl system.

g) Sw implementation of transmission functions

h) MIL/SIL/HIL/Vehicle test techniques

i) Debugging the fields issues

 

 

Tools

- Modelling tools -  MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow

- Code generation tools - Targetlink

- Requirement management  - Doors, Doors NG, Polarion

- Testcase management – Doors, Jira/Xray, Polarion

- Configuration Management  - SVN/PVCS /Git

- Measurement Calibration Diagnostic (MCD)  - CANAPE /CANOE/Canalyzer /INCA)
