Job Overview:

The People Operations HR Generalist provides support to the HRBP team in the areas of employee relations and position management. The Generalist will work independently as well as part of a team, focusing on a wide range of HR-related topics and collaborating across multiple HR functions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Business Partner team in core areas including: performance management, retention and succession planning, training material development, employee relations, onboarding/offboarding processes. Collaborating closely with HR colleagues to develop policies, programs, and solutions that further enhance our culture and employer-of-choice offerings; Synthesizing and analyzing data trends and metrics to support business decisions; Preparing and maintaining presentations and best practices for the Business Partner team; Supporting the HR Business Partners in developing and delivering HR strategies that support business priorities; and identifying training and development needs for employees and developing materials and monitoring training programs to ensure training objectives are met  (75%)
• Act as a liaison between other functions within HR team (Reporting, Talent Development, Benefits and Recruiting) on various projects and deliverables as well liaising with the broader corporate customers.  (20%)
• Support project initiatives and special assignments as assigned  (5%) 

Qualifications:

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position. 

This position can be seated in at the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services office in Farmington Hills, MI or Fort Worth, TX

This position requires a minimum of 3 years of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:

•  Human Resources - 3 years of experience

Education:
High School Diploma/(GED) is required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Recommended majors include:

• Human Resource Management
• Business Administration

Additional Knowledge:

• SHRM Certification preferred
