Global Aftersales Parts Business Specialist Mercedes-Benz Cars

As part of Mercedes-Benz Cars, Global Customer Service & Parts (GCSP) drives our aftersales business and plays a crucial role in our success.

Our focus is on delivering exceptional customer care, striving to exceed expectations and rival the world's top service brands. At GCSP, we aim to boost aftersales business EBIT contribution and drive sustainable growth in parts sales.

Our Parts Business Steering team oversees our three parts lines Mercedes-Benz Genuine Parts, Genuine Remanufactured Parts, and StarParts, ensuring optimal market penetration through the 4 Ps of marketing. We lead cross-functional projects, use data-driven insights to identify fields of action and introduce new parts together with the engineering team in Germany. 

To support our global aftersales organization, we're opening a new parts business steering hub in Romania.

Tasks

  • Data driven definition of measures to tap the full sales and cost potentials;
  • Ensuring implementation of measures for sustainable business growth;
  • Creation of complex market and customer analyses;
  • Preparation of business case calculations for sales channels, market segments, and products;
  • Responsibility for product and competition comparisons;
  • Utilization of all marketing levers for customer-oriented design, including communication to the respective target group;
  • Responsible for the business case calculation and introduction of new StarParts & Genuine Remanufactured Parts, developed by our engineering team in Germany;
  • Close collaboration with purchasing, engineering, logistics, market management and controlling;
  • Identification of new component sources and remanufacturing opportunities together with engineering;
  • Reporting and monitoring of responsible product groups;
Qualifications

At Star Transmission we are searching for individuals who feel confident in independent roles, have an organized work style, strong communication and analytical skills and are results oriented. Besides this you should have:

  • Completed degree in business administration;
  • Experience in leading cross-functional projects;
  • Experience in managing internal and external partners;
  • Experience in the automotive aftersales market is beneficial;
  • Experience in business case calculation, marketing, and pricing;
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint;
  • Language skills: Fluent in English and ideally German;
