Key Responsibilities:
• Drive vehicle packaging activities and finalize packaging concepts in alignment with stakeholders
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and present technical topics in management forums
• Collaborate with DST, DBBK, and other teams to clarify concerns and ensure timely resolution
• Lead integration activities across domains such as Styling, Design, CAE, CAX, and Manufacturing
• Drive competency development through collaboration with BTVs, CAx, PDM, and MO engineers
• Take ownership of specific packaging areas and ensure end-to-end delivery excellence
• Propose and implement innovative ideas, tools, and process improvements for packaging
Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in vehicle packaging and overall vehicle development
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems, subsystems, and assembly processes
• Knowledge of automotive product development processes and vehicle regulations/homologation
• Hands-on experience with PDM/PLM tools, DMU maintenance, and virtual reality environments
• Expertise in vehicle bill of materials (BOM), configurations, and engineering change workflows
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in packaging and interference study of complete vehicle
Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Automobile / Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
• German language proficiency
• Experience working in global automotive environments and cross-functional teams
• Strong exposure to integration touchpoints across multiple engineering domains
• Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in processes and tools
