New After-Sales Business Development Specialist

We are hiring a Specialist for New After-Sales Business Development who will be responsible for maximizing revenue and profit by developing new After-Sales business and products in collaboration with business partners, internal teams, and Mercedes-Benz HQ. This role involves managing new business projects with clear milestones and coordinating all stakeholders to ensure a successful project launch. Your responsibilities are:

MB Tire sales business planning and management

  • Planning of MB Tire sales target and continuously tracking data for target achievement
  • Proposing measures, such as new promotions, incentives if necessary to keep on track in business as planned
  • Managing suppliers for stable and proactive tire supply in terms of logistics
  • Supporting suppliers’ promotion for sales increase
  • Planning and implementing marketing activities and/or campaigns whenever necessary
  • Dealer steering for active program participation in order to achieve optimal results
  • Closely communicating with CS Area Managers for dealer management
  • Involving in yearly global tender, which includes annual pricing and New Preferred Partner selection for effective tire sales
  • Adjusting dealer price in case necessary considering sales development and business margin
  • Regular monitoring & reporting of sales figures to management and HQ
  • Regularly communicating with HQ for business optimization
  • Supporting HQ in case of new projects launch in Korean market, such as Around The Car project
  • Resolving and handling the risks and problems that may arise during business

MB Tire sales business operation 

  • Updating products on a monthly basis(new/phase out/updates in tire products) based on communication with dealers and suppliers
  • Updating changes in suppliers, such as personnel change, urgent supply requests etc.
  • Operation of promotion process and payments
  • Monitoring MB Tire related operations and looking for improvements for increased efficiency

Mercedes-Benz Airport Service Management

  • Managing and monitoring Mercedes-Benz Airport Service and identifying areas for improvement
  • Managing and steering service vendor and MBK Customer Care Center for optimal service operation
  • Managing Mercedes-Benz Airport Service shuttle zone in line with contract period
  • Managing Mercedes-Benz Airport Service shuttle cars and setting additional vehicles depending on situation
  • Planning and implementing necessary marketing activities

Project Management in After-Sales Business & Product Development

  • Responsible for the design of a new project & product for retailers and/or end customers in AS marketing topics and development of the AS products
  • Analyzing and evaluating the new business opportunities by using various business analysis methods.
  • Analyzing business cases that result from the new business opportunities
  • Organize project team members who can design and support new business process including R&R and ensure their involvement 
  • Define project milestone and regular project meeting schedule to track progress
  • Lead project meetings to develop agreements and solutions for the project implementation and update project related information and progress status.
  • Resolve the risks and problems that may arise during the working of the project
  • Manage project report to stakeholders
  • Monitor the launched new business status and coordinate with project team members to resolve any issues after the business launch
Qualifications

Education

Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Automotive/Mechanical Engineering. 

 

Experience

Minimum 5 years business experience with at least 3 years’ experience at automobile After-Sales business planning areas or Business Consulting areas with project management position 

Past experiences should include at least one of the following areas: Project Management, Parts and Service Operations, Business Planning and Business Analysis

 

Specific knowledge

Excellent knowledge of automobile after-sales business and structure

Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skill in business planning

English proficiency in business context level

Excellent communication ability to develop positive working relationships across all levels and functions.
