Job Description for Assembly Process Simulation Engineer
Experience in
Digital manufacturing tools (3D Experience /DELMIA V5/Team center visualization/Human Jack/ Process Simulate/IC.IDO/Unity/VR/FAPLIS/Micro station etc.)
Assembly process planning, documentation & issue resolution
Assembly equipment design, planning, installation & commissioning
Physical ergonomic Assessment in production plant
Problem Solving & Project Management
C#/Python/Powerbi
Designing small Jigs & Fixtures
Executing new vehicle program projects.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Conduct dynamic and static clearance analysis studies for Cars using 3D Experience
2. Conduct ergonomic studies using 3D Experience
3. Virtual validation of plant tools and equipment for new products
4. Create standard issue reports and coordinate with stakeholders
5. Recommend process or equipment design changes based upon investigation
6. Coordinate with stakeholders for seamless project execution
7. M-BOM Creation & maintenance in 3D Experience
8. 3D-layouting using Microstation/FAPLIS
9. Create VR environment for product investigation
10. Support testing & developmental activity for VR as tool for Assembly Validation
11. Develop cost reduction initiatives while creating equipment concepts
12. Equipment concept design and layout creation recommendation
13. Assist in Concept validation, technical offer evaluation
Skills Expected:
1. Good hands on Experience & Exposure to General Assembly process and Problem resolution.
2. Proficient in working in a CFT environment
3. High analytical / conceptual competence, pronounced goal and result orientation, pronounced customer orientation, Teamwork, strong communication skills
4. Knowledge on Industrial Engineering, Safety & Ergonomics.
5. Proficiency in German Language is added advantage
Educational Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
Work Experience: 3-6 Years of experience in the field of General Assembly (TCF).
