**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Data and AI Engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), data engineering, AI/ML model deployment, and Kubernetes. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions and AI workflows in GCP, ensuring efficient data processing and scalable machine learning operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Management:**
  - Design, deploy, and manage GCP data services including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
  - Optimize data pipelines and cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

- **Data Engineering:**
  - Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to process large datasets efficiently.
  - Implement data integration and transformation workflows to support business intelligence and analytics.
  - Ensure data quality and integrity through effective validation and monitoring.

- **AI/ML Deployment:**
  - Deploy, scale, and manage machine learning models using GCP AI services like AI Platform, Vertex AI, or TensorFlow on GCP.
  - Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize machine learning workflows and integrate them into production systems.
  - Monitor and optimize model performance, and implement best practices for model versioning and retraining.

- **Kubernetes and Containerization:**
  - Orchestrate and manage containerized data and AI applications using Kubernetes.
  - Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters on GCP.
  - Develop and manage Helm charts for deploying data and AI applications.

- **Collaboration and Support:**
  - Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data and AI requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  - Document processes, configurations, and best practices for team knowledge sharing and future reference.
  - Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex issues related to data and AI infrastructure and services.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), focusing on data engineering and AI/ML.
- Strong experience with data processing tools and frameworks (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Apache Beam).
- Proficiency in deploying and managing AI/ML models on GCP.
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and application management.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, SQL, or Bash.
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data and AI issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer certification.
- Experience with additional cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of additional data processing tools or AI frameworks.
- Experience with data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
