Job Objective:
· Body EE component & system development for the China market, will take over the Switches OS responsibilities including verification, calibration, testing, and release.
· Serve as BTV role for switch and Body EE component development, managing localization, technical evaluation and cross‑carline changes.
· Define EE system functions, boundaries, and technical requirements, and map customer functions to system and component levels.
· Ensure system architecture and components comply with cybersecurity and other relevant standards.
· Coordinate with regulatory and safety teams to support homologation and compliance testing for China and global carlines.
· Maintain regular technical alignment with German R&D HQ and jointly confirm development and testing results.
· Support EC/KEM change management, production processes, and Body EE component testing.
· Perform troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and maturity evaluation for Body EE ECUs at component and vehicle level.
· Provide technical support across China and global carlines to ensure consistent system performance and integration.
Qualification:
Education :
· University degree in mechanical, automotive or electrical engineering
Experience :
· Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive industry (OEMs or part suppliers), with specific experience in digital car key functions and project management.
· Proven expertise in developing wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth Low Energy, NFC, UWB, etc.).
Specific Knowledge:
· Proficient in electronic and software design for Body EE ECUs. Deep understanding of communication and diagnostic protocols (CAN, LIN, ETH). The development task in EE scope requires candidates onboard with necessary knowhow, e.g. understanding communication and diagnostic protocol (CAN, LIN, ETH)
· Familiar with HiL testing, testbench setup and system troubleshooting.
· Familiar with MDS process/ localization process/change management process of Mercedes-benz
· Experience with PDM systems e.g. Dialog/Smaragd/ACM/Start
· Experience with Vector toolchain (CANoe, CANape, CANdela), and E/E architecture topology. Knowledge of security concepts: secure boot, key management, hardware security modules (HSM), and cryptographic algorithms.
· Chinese native speaker with fluent English language in spoken and written and high management presentation skills
· Self-responsibility, team player and good communication skills.
