Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI), headquartered in Bengaluru with a satellite office in Pune, is the largest R&D center for Mercedes-Benz Group AG outside of Germany. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain backend services for the MB.Charge platform using Java and SpringBoot
• Design, build, and deploy scalable microservices in a cloud-native architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Implement API design using OpenAPI standards and secure APIs with OAuth
• Configure and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker
• Ensure high performance and availability through fault-tolerant mechanisms
• Monitor, debug, and optimize performance using tools like AppDynamics or Datadog
Required Skills and Experience:
• Strong programming experience in Java/J2EE (Java 8 and above)
• Hands-on with SpringBoot, JUnit, Mockito, and Gin framework
• Proficient in working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Cloud experience in Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Good understanding of microservices, service discovery, and fault tolerance
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Working knowledge of messaging and caching tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis
• Familiarity with Terraform, Helm, and API design using OpenAPI 3.x
• 3–6 years of experience in backend development with cloud-native architecture
• Strong debugging skills, ownership mindset, and the ability to work independently

Educational Qualifications:

• Exposure to frontend basics: JavaScript, ReactJS, Next.js, CSS

• Experience working with global teams or Daimler ecosystems
