Born to Run.” We invite engaged, innovative job candidates to run the ramp up of our new facility with us! Job Overview:Audit and Campaigns Manager will have primary accountability for providing leadership and technical direction to the audit discipline as it applies to internal product, system and process audits, quality data analysis and problem solving in relation to the Plant Production processes. Evaluates field quality data and processes field claims and campaigns, including responsibility for internal campaign rework. Maintains process and customer-oriented quality of the vehicles through prevention and control in line with defined quality objectives by VAN. Develops and leads the execution of quality strategy, supporting the company’s long-range business plans. Responsibilities:
  • Plans, directs, monitors and performs production audits including product audit (VoCA), conformity (COP), system audit, process audit and station audit
  • Directs, manages and performs the campaigns decision process. Plans, directs, monitors and performs campaign rework on internal vehicles
  • Develops, evaluates, and reviews audit procedures and standards to ensure that audits are conducted rigorously and consistently
  • Evaluates effectiveness of quality measures and recommends changes of test methods, setup, process and design concepts. Designs remedial measures and monitors the implementation
  • Oversees the execution on offending vehicles from internal and external sensors, the creation of analytic reports and presentation to clients
  • Performs testing of emergency and series measures and provides analytical support for the evaluation of technical changes and new type projects
  • Prioritizes and oversees process complaints and cause investigations internally. Initiates corrective action and monitors its implementation
  • Manages budget and personnel allocation efficiently. Conveys budget distribution and cost saving processes to colleagues

     

  • Supports product release process including communication to all necessary interfaces like RD, Logistic, Production and Engineering, also escalating critical topics to the next level.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant regulations, directives, policies and work agreements
  • Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings
  • Will perform other duties as assigned
  • Leads employees in line with organizational culture, values and guidelines; defines performance goals, conducts performance reviews; effectively communicates and engages employees to meet objectives.

Qualifications

 

Qualifications - External
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.  
  • 5-8 years of experience.  Preferably in the areas of planning, production and quality management.
  • Successful PV44.

  • Excellent communication, problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proven track creating a positive work environment and engaged employees.
