Mercedes-Benz Vans is a successful manufacturer of premium light commercial vehicles (LCV) for customers and markets worldwide. Our purpose is “to move transportation to the next level” and to define the LCV business of the future: with CO2-neutrality and focused on connectivity and digital solutions. We have decided to expand our battery-electric LCV production capacity and implement an entirely new plant next to our existing Mercedes-Benz production facility in Jawor. Your task

•        Automotive Supply (AmS) is a SAP based logistics template which supports all processes from ordering to provision of parts within Mercedes-Benz.

•        You manage (sub-)projects in the Automotive Supply and corresponding systems with external and internal partners and can implement them with a high degree of independence in action and decision-making competence.

•        You develop and optimize logistics concepts and processes across trades for assembly and body shop scopes, considering the logistics strategy and feasibility in the logistics system world.

•        You are responsible for your AmS work packages and cooperation with partner systems, ensure smooth system operation and are the contact person for complex system-related issues in logistics. If necessary, you derive system developments in collaboration with IT.

•        You initiate plant-specific system developments and coordinate these across plants during concept development. For successful deployments, you conduct system tests and provide training for the affected users.

•        You monitor compliance with logistical requirements and procedures. In addition, you carry out independently qualification measures in case of deviations.

We are looking for you, if you

•        Completed studies in industrial engineering, business informatics, or several years of professional experience in logistics

•        Experience with IT systems especially SAP, ideally in dealing with AmS

•        Fluent English and German skills

•        Knowledge of processes and procedures in the field of logistics

•        Initiative, strong communication skills, teamwork, structured working method
