Job Overview:
Support the factory steering by setting up respectively modifying parameter of production systems like iPortal (shift schedule, target values), Gepard, VANIS, etc. Continuously monitoring and ensuring best flow of factory. Blocking of vehicles based on inputs. Support failure analyses, determine containments and counter measures
Responsibilites:
- Maintain production restrictions by steering contingency rules
- Assist with Blocking/unblocking units based on input majorly from logistic engineering, and production
- Assist with restart activities after unforeseen situations (for e.g. power outage, Gepard rebooting, etc.) to ensure synchronized factory
- Aid and participate root cause analysis for disruptions in production in relation to sequence. Determine containments & counter measures including follow up of the same as well as assessing effectiveness
- Assist with controlled releases for special cars like PRO1 or PRO2 vehicles, trail cars, codes etc.
- Participate and assist with line set-ups in preparation for engineering enhancements, trials, shut downs.
- Steering vehicle ratio based on program requirements and production output
- Participates in regular scheduled meetings
- May perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or in a related Engineering field required with a minimum of 0-3 years of relevant professional experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience in a Logistics oriented environment within a manufacturing setting, with strong emphasis on project management and process planning preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of management, executive/senior staff
- Highly motivated self-starter; Team oriented; outstanding planning and proactive skills.
