As an intern in our team, you will gain comprehensive insights into the forward-looking development of electrified and hybrid vehicle powertrains. You will be actively involved in current development projects to directly apply your theoretical knowledge in practice. Your main tasks will include measurement data analysis, the conceptual design of test procedures, and the development of toolchains for automated data evaluation. Within these areas of responsibility, you will gain a deep insight into the daily business of a powertrain engineer.
Your Responsibilities:
Conceptual design and programming of test procedures in powertrain simulation environments using Python
Continuous comparison of test procedures with other test resources such as powertrain test benches or test vehicles
Analysis and evaluation of test bench, simulation, and vehicle measurement data using MATLAB, Canape, MDA, etc.
Further development of automated evaluation tools for handling large data volumes in MATLAB and Python
Updating control units in the powertrain
Support in the creation of project reports
Assistance in day-to-day business
The position is full-time, limited to 6 months, and can start from March 26.
Field of Study: Technical degree program (e.g., Mechanical Engineering / Automotive Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Control Engineering / Mechatronics / Computer Science), completed basic studies / Bachelor's degree
Language Skills: Excellent proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
Other Skills: Programming with Python and MATLAB, knowledge in the areas of automotive engineering / internal combustion engines / control engineering, MS Office
