Mercedes-Benz is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analytics intern to join our team from December 2025 for a 4–6 month journey into the world of data-driven innovation and agile project execution. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work with advanced data platforms, contribute to strategic initiatives, and collaborate across departments in a fast-paced, global environment.
As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the following areas:
· Understand the full data landscape across the Mercedes-Benz Market, including ingestion, transformation, modeling, reporting, and data science.
· Develop a comprehensive view of data workflows and recommend automation or optimization opportunities.
· Work with Microsoft Azure services and explore data governance practices.
· Prepare a report summarizing governance insights and platform improvements.
2.Project Management
· Participate in daily stand-ups and agile scrum sessions.
· Maintain and enhance collaboration tools like SharePoint, Confluence, and Jira.
· Create and manage project documentation including presentations and process diagrams.
· Assist in resolving project impediments and learn Mercedes-Benz Agile methodology.
3.Administrative Coordination
· Support workshops, meetings, and team events, including preparation of materials.
· Contribute to strategic reporting, Nest Best (NBx) analytics use cases, and Data Lake initiatives.
· Provide documentation and follow-up support to ensure timely execution across markets.
4. Technical Aspects – Supporting Role of MB technical team
· Assist with data modeling and application development using PySpark and Python.
· Contribute to code cataloging, Azure DevOps workflows, and Databricks engineering tasks.
· Perform data analysis using SQL.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field (IT focus preferred).
- Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with project management, IT lifecycles, and big data concepts is a plus.
- Experience with MS Azure, including Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Exposure to Python is an advantage.
