Information Security Architect
Tasks

The Information Security Architect (ISA) contributes to architecture and design, recommends measures, and communicates their results to ensure that possible threats and suitable measures are addressed. You are sharing your expertise with different VAN locations worldwide and are part of the Information Security community at Mercedes-Benz

Tasks/Responsibilities:


- Assisting in the analysis of the system architecture based on a standardized procedure model to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities and assess their possible effects.
- Providing support in reviewing design specifications and identifying possible scenarios for system use with regard to their effect on security.
- Assisting in the identification of security measures for cloud projects.
- Using methods to ensure "security by design" under consideration of data protection requirements, such as privacy by design.
- Creating and documenting the results of the analysis and recommending implementation measures in the security profile on behalf of and in cooperation with a project or system manager.
- Submitting evidence of a valid, predefined certification and completed test that is recognized by Central Cyber Security Guidelines.
- Coordinate and fulfill the relevant KPI requirements as laid down by Central Cyber Security teams.

Qualifications

- Completed studies in (business) informatics, information technology, or extensive professional experience in the IT or cybersecurity field.
- Fluent English communication skills. German is an added advantage
- Industry recognized Information Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc. 
- Experience with Threat Modelling such as STRIDE, PASTA, C4-Modelling, etc.
- Willingness to delve into complex technical processes and responsibly shape them.
- Pragmatic and self-reliant working style.
- Professional demeanor, team spirit, initiative, and the highest quality standards.
- Good technical comprehension and understanding of technical relationships.
- Negotiation skills and strong goal and result orientation.
