Objective of job
•    As EE component and system responsible person for Head up display, in cooperation with the responsible China teams and suppliers to complete open source localization evaluation and conduct POC if necessary, than leading project incl. development, localization and supplier management in collaboration with different RD localizations and cross functional team e.g. procurement, quality and logistics, set up localization milestones as well as coordinate activities to pursue tight time schedules.
•   Close communication with RD GER counterpart for knowhow, especially the MB specification build up and exchange incl. component/ system development and testing 
•   Manage part open-source development projects till part release with handover to series production for making sure to provide the parts on time and fulfill the function as required, ensure the close and smooth collaboration with JV plant
•    Support system and vehicle testing and release. Troubleshooting and diagnose for related rollout carlines globally. Support team for further open source development project. 

o Education 
University degree in mechanical, automotive or electrical engineering
o Experience 
Applicants with minimum 5-7 years in overall vehicle or component development at OEMs or suppliers, proven work experience in EE and optical relevant areas: EE components development and localization, CAD, EE diagnostic & troubleshooting & vehicle level EE testing (incl. CAN FD/Ethernet bus measurement), optical element/ components development and localization, experience in Head up display industry.
o Specific Knowledge
•    Rich Knowledge and experience in EE area, familiar with EE architecture. Known MDS process is plus
•    Experience in development task with necessary knowhow, e.g. Optical system design, Display technologies, windshield system, UI/UX design, Software integration etc.
•    Understanding communication and diagnostic protocol, experience with Vector toolchain (CANoe etc.); Understand how to read and use EE architecture topology.
•    Knowledge and familiar with NX, Smaragd and diagnose tools
•    Chinese native speaker with fluent English language skills, German language beneficial
•    Self-responsible working attitude and initiative
•    Strong planning and organizational skills 
•    Intercultural competence and communication skills with various hierarchy levels
•    Willingness to travel inside China and abroad to prepare and support launches at JV / suppliers
