Tasks:
1. Conduct Functional Safety (FuSa) Engineering for ADAS and/or AD on system level according to ISO 26262
- Conduct FuSa Engineering according to ISO 26262 and Daimler guideline and project RASIC
- Consolidate and maintain HARA analysis based on input (item definition) for successful review/assessment
- Derivate and maintain Functional Safety Concept (FSC) based on HARA for successful review/assessment
- Perform and maintain necessary and suficcient safety analysis based on highst ASIL-level of responsible system for successful review/assessment
- Create FuSa requirments on system level based on FSC; aglin with all relevant interfaces (e.g. System development, allocated Components (incl. HW metrics)); request cooresponding implementation of the FuSa requirments on system level
2. Support Functional Safety Manager with process conformity within company and/or concern and project based interface alignment
- Ensure FuSa Millstones in project with necessary FuSa activities and working products according to Safey Plan from FuSa Manager
- Support for FuSa Manager by alignment with relevant interfaces, if engineering content is necessary for specific alignment
3. Support system development with concept development based on regulatory and legal restrictions
- Contribute with FuSa expertise during concept design
- Concept evaluation from FuSa -Perspective
4. Support project-related discussion about CN-regulation/standards for FuSi and/or ADAS/AD
- Contribute with experience on discussion to support standard drafting/lobbying activities of DGRC
Qualification:
Education: Master in machtronics, automotive engineering, electrical engineering or a related field;
Experience:
- Experience on FuSa Engeenring of E/E systems according to ISO 26262
- Industrial experience in automotive industry – OEM or supplier
- Ideally: development experience/ Intership of ADAS/AD system
Specific Knowledge:
- Reliable language skills with English or German
- Experience on Functional Safety according to ISO 26262, FuSa Engeenering, FuSa Management up to ASIL D
- Knowledge about FuSa and QM methodology: HARA, FTA, DFA; FMEA
- Fundamental knowledge about quality managenment, product development process in automobile industry
