Key Responsibilities:• Perform Product Data Management (PDM) activities including release management in line with customer and project requirements
• Execute Engineering Change Management processes, including change evaluation, implementation, and tracking
• Manage variants control and Bill of Materials (BOM) with high accuracy and compliance to standards
• Ensure adherence to MB Norms, DBL standards, and applicable Daimler systems
• Collaborate closely with global stakeholders, especially German and European teams, for seamless data management and releases
• Support PDM-related activities for Interior & Exterior automotive components
• Utilize PLM and CAD tools to ensure data integrity and configuration consistency
• 2–8 years of relevant experience in Product Data Management (Release and Engineering Change Management)
• Strong knowledge of Change Management, Variants Control, and BOM Management
• Hands-on experience with Unigraphics NX and Teamcenter
• Familiarity with MB Norms, DBL standards; experience with DIALOG and SMARAGD is an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work in cross-cultural and global teams
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to take individual ownership when required
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):• Prior experience working with global automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers (German OEMs/Tier 1s preferred)
• Minimum one year of working exposure with European clients or projects
• Ability to interact effectively with German stakeholders; German language skills are an added advantage
• Experience in Interior and Exterior automotive component development environments
