Key Responsibilities:
BAT Strategy: Develop and refine the strategy for Business Acceptance Testing in the context of the MIAS.
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations.
Test Scenario Development: Translate business needs into detailed test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
Test Automation:
· Identify opportunities where automation can enhance the BAT process.
· Design, implement, and maintain automated BAT, ensuring they remain aligned with business needs.
· Collaborate with the development and operations teams to integrate BAT automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
· Continuously evaluate the effectiveness and coverage of the automated tests, making improvements as necessary.
Test Execution: Conduct BAT, ensuring the system meets all defined business criteria before proceeding to deployment.
Issue Identification & Reporting: Identify any discrepancies between the system's outputs and business requirements, documenting and communicating them effectively for resolution.
Feedback Loop: Provide feedback to the development team based on BAT findings and work collaboratively towards solutions.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of BAT processes, findings, and resolutions. Organize the dashboards needed for transparency on the test progress and findings.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing with a focus on Business Acceptance Testing.
· Familiarity with AWS environments, especially in relation to data projects.
· SQL Skills for running queries and necessary tests on the data bases
· Strong understanding of the nuances involved in BAT and the importance of aligning technical outputs with business needs.
· Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical scenarios in business terms.
