Key Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and develop Android-based solutions from concept to deployment for in-vehicle connectivity systems
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Vehicle System Leads, and other stakeholders to align on product strategy and execution
- Write and manage product requirements using tools such as DOORS or JIRA; derive epics and user stories for Agile teams
- Ensure performance, reliability, and responsiveness of Android applications
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, delivering timely resolutions
- Contribute to middleware development including services, AIDL, content providers, car network/service layers, and broadcast receivers
- Work closely with suppliers and partners to integrate solutions and drive technical alignment
Required Skills and Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in software development within the automotive domain
- Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on coding and debugging experience in Android and C/C++
- Proficient in Android Automotive, Kotlin, Java, and C/C++
- Strong understanding of Android middleware development
- Hands-on experience with cloud messaging APIs and protocols like MQTT, HTTP
- Experience working with Agile Scrum methodologies and Atlassian toolchains (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration across internal teams and external partners

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
- Experience in Automotive Security or connected vehicle security standards
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development methodologies
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Git and modern version control practices
- Exposure to infotainment or telematics solutions within the automotive industry
