We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure & Vault Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong technical background in Infrastructure as Code, with expertise in HashiCorp Vault and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will provide expert consultancy, maintain critical infrastructure, deliver high-level operational support, and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities• Design, maintain, and evolve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementations using Terraform Enterprise
• Provide strategic consultancy on HashiCorp Vault usage, including architecture design, security best practices, and enterprise-scale implementations
• Lead the design and integration of Vault with various tools, applications, and systems across the organization
• Deliver L3 operational support through the Service Desk, resolving complex technical issues and providing expert guidance
• Develop automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team
Required Skills & QualificationsMust-Have Skills:
• Infrastructure as Code & Terraform Enterprise (IaC, TFE): Expert-level proficiency in writing, maintaining, and optimizing Terraform configurations at enterprise scale
• Git & GitLab CI: Advanced expertise in version control, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipeline development and management
Should-Have Skills:
• Scripting & Automation: Strong proficiency in Bash and Python for complex automation, tooling development, and integration work
• Effective Communication & User Interaction: Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, stakeholders, and provide outstanding customer service
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Alice & Vault Product Knowledge: Existing familiarity with Alice and HashiCorp Vault products (comprehensive training will be provided)
Experience Requirements• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or DevOps roles
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
