Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI), headquartered in Bengaluru with a satellite office in Pune, is the largest R&D center for Mercedes-Benz Group AG outside of Germany. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead technical consulting for requirements gathering, scope definition, and collaboration models with RD Germany
• Drive strategic planning and manage teams and projects from concept to delivery
• Plan and oversee onsite/offshore product development activities
• Manage stakeholders and establish effective global working models
• Develop and execute talent acquisition and development strategies based on project needs
• Improve team efficiency through structured performance enhancement initiatives
• Motivate teams to contribute to organizational growth through innovation, benchmarking, CSR, and team-building activities
• Implement and manage project management tools, reports, methodologies, and best practices
• Ensure effective people and team management across functions

Required Skills and Experience:
• 15+ years of experience in design, with a strong background in leading large teams
• Expertise in product development, engine components design, and powertrain (PT WH) design
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and processes
• Proven track record in talent development, people management, and business expansion
• Experience with project management tools, techniques, and methodologies
• Excellent networking, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Additional certifications (if any): PMP, Agile, or similar project management certifications are a plus

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
• German language proficiency
• Exposure to intercultural and global collaboration environments
• Experience in setting up and managing global delivery models
