Sr. Engineer – QA Automation : Roles & Responsibility

 

•Perform Test Automation for Frontend and Backend Applications •Perform Estimation , Planning and Execution of deliverables in each Sprint •Perform Impact Analysis and come out with strategy to adapt new features/changes •Implement new utilities, process in Automation tool chain and keep it up-to-date with new technologies •Take ownership and keep the Target Test Suites up-to-date with latest features for each release

Must to have

•4-8 years of experience in Test Automation •Strong experience in UI Automation with Selenium Web driver •Good working knowledge of API Test Automation with Rest Assured or Ready API tools •Strong in OOPs concept with hands on experience in Core Java Programing •Good understanding of Apache-Maven, Git, and other source code management tools •Good understanding of Cloud Technologies - Event Hubs, IoT Hubs and Cloud data streaming tools like Storm and Kafka •Hands on experience in JIRA, Xray or Zephyr tool for test execution and defect management •Good exposure to CICD Tools (Preferably Azure DevOps)

Nice to have

•IoT Domain Understanding •Experience in Performance Testing Tool like  JMeter,LoadRunner •Knowledge of Sql, HBase •ISTQB/CSTE certifications •Prior Experience of working in Automotive Industry
