Job Overview:
Coordinate the day-to-day activities of a team of CI shop Technicians to ensure that Continuous Improvement activities run based on requests from Internal customers; Support technicians by providing the resources required for completion of Internal customer requests.
Responsibilities:
Mastery of work contents of the team
Regular co-working in the working areas
Reliever/supporter in the case of minimal qualifications
Short term replacement for (un)scheduled temporary absence according to regulation
Function as utility person and replacement
Support of the team to ensure a frictionless workflow
Procurement of material according to the Customer request requirements
Control availability of material (check installation if necessary)
Support process of solving team internal cooperation problems
Report disruptions, organize disruption management
Ensure cyclic check of instruments
Control rework in close environment, execution if necessary
Act as first contact person for other teams
Support with Quality of work outcome
Support and foster integration of employees
Technical lead of the team
Connect with Customer & understand the requirements
Assign & explain the Customer request to the Team
Support in idea generation with the Team
Coordination of the absence planning (vacation, free shifts, …)
Execution of single point lessons (in coordination with E5)
Supervision and adaption of Safety
Guarantee and execute Quality check of the completed requests
Maintain requests Tracking Board, online report & documentation of CI information
Manage Tools, equipment & materials in the shop and refill when necessary
Follow escalation via E5 if necessary
Follow the adherence of the team targets
Develop and update qualification matrix (in coordination with the team)
Check of employees according to the adherence of standards & safety protocols
Providing material / Equipment
Completed MBV Team Leader Training Program
Knowledge of Continuous Improvement activities
Minimum High School Diploma / General Educational Development
2+ years of relevant Automotive Experience
Experience as CI Technician is preferred
