Objectives of the position
The Industrialization team is mainly responsible for the industrialization preparation at our battery supplier. Focusing on Project management, Quality, Process and equipment preparation. Within this team we are looking for a cell specialist for the current project. The function is integrated into a cross-functional team. Responsible for the overall project is the Team leader.
Description of tasks- Organize industrialization activities of battery cell production. Including core functions (e.g. planning and production) s well as supportive functions (e.g. Quality management, Logistics, Purchasing, IT, …).
- Support battery suppliers to fulfill aligned targets, regulations and specifications within aligned time period during the process of industrialization. (e.g. Project milestones, line release, Ramp up, …).
- Ensure volume, quality and continuous improvement in accordance to the defined key performance indicators.
- Process and equipment planning (analyzing current status, sub supplier. etc).
- Project management support function for project leader (Shopfloor management, KPI setup and tracking, decision preparation, lessons learned procedure, coordination of project).
- Build up networks with MB departments (e.g. Planning, Production, RD, LOG, QM, …) to carry over lessons learned and enhance collaboration activities.
- Leading and steering of cross-functional project teams.
- Full responsibility for taking over and solving tasks
Education
- Bachelor up, Chemistry Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar education
- Above-average commitment and a high degree of responsibility
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in planning and engineering oriented environment within a manufacturing setting, with strong emphasis on project management, Process and equipment planning.
- Specialized knowledge of project management, experienced knowledge of technical and business management.
- Automotive & battery background is preferred, Battery cell expert is preferred.
- Detailed knowledge in planning for overall systems, ramp-up a series production in complex organizations.
- Specialized for cell product & process manufacturing, equipment and machinery planning
- Experienced in project management, automotive development and supplier-management.
- Ability to communicate in English and Chinese fluently.

- Several years of professional experience in the field of battery cell technology, Initial professional experience in a comparable position with knowledge of lithium-ion batteries desirable. Working knowledge of battery development and supplier quality processes
- PC application knowledge: WORD, EXCEL, Power Point and Outlook, with focus on Power Point.
