Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop concepts for Body in White (BIW) projects aligned with product development milestones and cross-functional requirements.
• Provide extended support for BIW projects by delivering innovative solutions and concepts through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Develop components using Siemens NX following defined methodologies and document deliverables in the PLM system for downstream processes.
• Create, document, and archive all necessary joining elements adhering to established methodologies.
• Address manufacturing, assembly, and tolerance requirements, supporting release management activities.
• Ensure effective communication with business partners and actively share innovation and knowledge within the team.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Strong domain knowledge of Body in White (BIW) processes and vehicle development systems.
• Expertise in joining elements, manufacturing, tolerance, and assembly processes.
• Proficiency in Siemens NX for part construction and working knowledge of PLM systems.
• Experience in information gathering, benchmarking, and applying Daimler methodologies, systems, and processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• High team spirit, learning attitude, and a driven-to-win mindset.
• Exposure to intercultural collaboration and familiarity with the German language is a plus.
Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related discipline from reputed institutions.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
• Experience working with Daimler methodologies and global cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to intercultural aspects, especially German language skills.
