OBJECTIVE OF JOB
As a Marketing Performance Assistant Manager, you would
Support in developing and aligning with markets the Marketing Metrics and KPI strategy, including target setting in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Manage and track all marketing data, create reports and define actionable measures to improve the MB business.
Co-manage and monitor all marketing data sources to generate reports and identify actionable insights that contribute to Mercedes- Benz business growth.
Collaborate closely with the Experience Center teams across Marketing, Sales, Customer Services, and Data streams to ensure alignment and integrated performance tracking.
Serve as a key support in strategic marketing performance measurement and insights generation, ensuring consistency and relevance across markets.
Support supplier coordination and administrative tasks related to performance tracking, project scoping, POD (Proof of Delivery) and general vendor management.
Support ad-hoc performance, data, strategic, analytical, and cross-functional initiatives as assigned, in alignment with evolving business and organisational priorities.
JOB DESCRIPTION
(1) Support end-to-end campaign management from marketing performance point of view:
Support regional and market condition analysis: marketing and sales status, brand performance and competitive monitoring to assist in campaign and activity planning
Help collect and coordinate information flow for campaign planning process
Support setup of campaign tracking for performance measurement in dashboards and reports
Assist agency in creating campaign reports with insights and action plans
Support in creation of management reports with business-relevant metrics and KPIs
Campaign Reporting presentation & stakeholder communication
(2) Consult and collaborate with the EC Enablement team on data strategy, Reporting landscape, KPIs, market demands, and further projects
(3) Analyze best practices for Marketing Performance Reports about campaign and market effectiveness
(4) Regular check of markets’ performances compared to their yearly targets and define action plan to improve marketing performance
(5) Optimize marketing data quality in respective dashboards, provide and execute recommendation for improvement
(6) Contribute in predictive performance analysis and execute market forecast trends based on available data sets
(7) Facilitate supplier steering & admin support (POD, Performance, Scope/Projects)
Managing regular POD with supplier/vendor
Ensuring timely input monthly
EDUCATION LEVEL
Bachelor degree in Marketing, Data Analytics or a related discipline
EXPERIENCE
Good experience (minimum 5+ years’ experience, digital marketing and campaign management experience with
understanding of online sales, marketing strategy, data analytics)
Industry experience preferably in the Automotive industry or any related business, marketing, media agency
Experience in working in multi-platform environments requires orchestration of data across different systems to enable marketing campaigns.
Ability to translate local market business and technical requirements and provide optimization strategies
Ability to manage multiple priorities/projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines and delivery plans
Knowledge of reporting, data and optimization proposals
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / SKILL
Strong proficiency in spoken and written English with a clear and professional communication style, supporting smooth coordination across teams and stakeholders,
Good working understanding of digital tools and platforms across the customer journey, including. CMS, CRM and DMP, Media incl. Social.
Deep strategic knowledge of Marketing Metrics and KPIs along the Customer journey (media, website, offline, etc.)
Experience working with all PowerBI, Microsoft eXtollo, Google Analytics, Google Campaign Manager, Social campaign manager tools, etc
Experience in data-driven personalized 360’ customer marketing approach & journey development, ideally with automotive
background
Data-driven analytical approach to marketing and problem solving combined with strategic business focus and vision
Strong Leadership experience working with many markets and different international stakeholders
Ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical individuals, development teams, and other additional project members
