Assistant Manager, Insurance
Tasks

Your role:

You will be responsible for achieving key insurance KPIs across all insurance products (motor insurance, extended warranty,  corporate insurance), developing new insurance offerings, supporting the agent network, and serving as the main liaison with panel insurers.
 

Main tasks:

  • Achieving key insurance KPIs across all products (motor insurance, extended warranty, corporate insurance)
  • Manage the Corporate Insurance and Fleet Car Motor Insurance Program to ensure smooth day to day operation between insurers and MBMY.
  • Develop insurance product as well as analysing market response for new products launched
  • Conduct monthly stake holder meeting; MBMY, Agents and Insurers with regards to sales KPI on insurance penetration, insurance renewal penetration and sales performance
  • Handle ad-hoc projects / programmes
  • Handle customer and agent enquiry
     
Qualifications

Education: Degree in Business or something similar

Work experience: At least 5 years of working experience in motor insurance industry.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint

  • Written & Spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia

  • Analytical, Meticulous & Attention to detail

  • Solution Driven

  • Self-starter & takes initiative

  • Keen attitude to learn new skills

  • Possess good communication and public relation skills

  • Service oriented with pleasant personality
