Job Description
- Manages large and comprehensive projects/multi-projects.
- Generation, maintenance and continuous monitoring of an integrated project plan (scope, budget, time, risk, resources, quality, and communication).
- Establishment of a suitable process model to achieve the project goals.
- Specifying, coordinating and monitoring the work packages/activities for the project team.
- Organization and control of the flow of information within their own project team.
- Regular recording and communication of the project status to project stakeholders.
- Preparation of offers as well as the determination of the expected project costs.
- Primary communication interface to the customer.
- Acquisition to secure follow-up orders.
- Composition and technical management of the project team.
- Responsible use of assigned project resources (employees, budget, time).
- Safe handling of the legal framework (legislation, Mercedes-Benz policies, governance and data security).
- Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Establishment of an agile approach in the team and in ensuring compliance with agile values and principles.
- Ensuring transparency on progress and removing existing obstacles.
- Ensuring direct collaboration between product owners and development teams.
- Moderation and coaching of the Scrum team.
- Support of the continuous improvement process of the Scrum team.
- Acts adapted to the project/customer/team requirements - Acts according to the situation.
- Knows software development processes and can assess statements of the team or actively question procedures.
- Support of the Scrum team in achieving the sprint goals
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years’ working experience in a related field is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or appropriate field of study
- Agile related certification, e.g. PSM I or higher, CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent preferred
- Project management is a plus, e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent preferred
- Proven working experience in project management in Agile environment.
- Experience in working as scrum master more than 1 scrum team with 3-9 members in same or different projects

- Shows a proactive and visionary approach even in a complex environment.
- Recognizes obstacles in the project.
- Further develops the project management approach (Solution Approach) and shapes the associated environment.
- Supports the entire organization in understanding and deeper introduction of Scrum.
- Engages with other Scrum Masters and derives recommendations to improve the effectiveness of Scrum implementations within the organization.
- Is also able to coach Scrum teams in larger projects with regard to scaling and suitable frameworks.
- Responsibility and Scope for decision-making
- Establishes synergies between the teams.
- Is responsible for the allocated budget.
- Integrates the relevant experts independently and proactively across BU.
- Acts with strategic and entrepreneurial vision.
- Supports particularly challenging Scrum projects within the entire organization.
- Is also able to evaluate new tools for the organization.
- Conveys and exemplifies the values and principles of host leadership.
- Is also able to coach other, less experienced Scrum Masters.
