Main tasks
1 - Ensure Accurate and Compliant Accounting Operations
• Ensure appropriate accounting treatments are applied and follow up on related issues.
• Maintain accurate accounting records for the assigned area in line with legal and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and review timely reconciliations for all relevant accounts.
• Investigate unusual variances and clear outstanding items in a timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and corporate compliance requirements across all accounting processes.
2 - Costing Management
• Manage the vehicle CBU shipment costing process (MBMIE & MBLDE).
• Review spare parts costing.
• Review all required documentation and ensure accurate recording of all costing fields.
• Manage payables for productive suppliers.
• Manage customs-related accounts.
• Monitor vehicle and spare parts inventory accounts.
• Coordinate the annual stock-taking of vehicles and spare parts.
• Manage dealers’ payables.•
3 - GL & Intercompany Accounts
• Record bank transactions accurately and on time.
• Reconcile transitory accounts.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for all companies’ bank accounts and monitor related transitory accounts.
• Manage local affiliates’ intercompany accounts.
4 - Internal Controls
• Conduct quarterly accounting internal control checks.
• Implement process improvements based on findings.
• Review results and take appropriate actions to strengthen controls and compliance.
5 - Month-End and Year-End Close
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare the monthly reporting package and support year-end audit requirements, including analyses and reconciliations.
Additional tasks may be assigned by the senior manager, as required.
Training and qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a reputable university.•
Technical knowledge
• Strong knowledge of international and local accounting standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).•

Experience
