ECU Hardware Integration Engineer
Aufgaben
Objectives
  • Responsible for hardware platform enablement and integration activities for Cockpit, ADAS, and Centralized Computing platforms, supporting board bring-up, low-level hardware/software integration, interface validation, and technical issue analysis.
  • Act as the technical bridge between hardware development teams and software development teams, enabling efficient platform bring-up, issue debugging, and product maturity improvement throughout the development process.
  • As the primary technical investigation point for platform-level integration issues, supporting objective root cause analysis and ownership determination across hardware, software, suppliers, and validation teams.
Main tasks

1. Board Bring-up & Platform Enablement

  • Support first power-on and board bring-up activities
  • Verify power, reset, clock, boot, and key hardware functions
  • Support platform enablement and initial hardware readiness assessment
  • Identify and resolve board bring-up issues

2. Hardware & Software Integration

  • Act as the technical interface between hardware and software teams
  • Support integration of hardware platforms with BSP and low-level software
  • Analyze and resolve hardware/software interaction issues
  • Ensure successful enablement of platform functions and interfaces

3. Platform-Level Technical Issue Investigation

  • Serve as the first technical investigation point for platform-level integration issues
  • Analyze problems involving hardware, software, suppliers, and validation activities
  • Determine technical ownership and root causes across multiple domains
  • Support corrective action definition and issue closure

4. Supplier Hardware Integration Support

  • Review and assess supplier-delivered hardware bring-up and integration status
  • Validate supplier technical conclusions and issue analysis
  • Support integration of supplier-developed hardware into local products and vehicle programs
  • Coordinate technical discussions among suppliers and internal engineering teams

5. Interface Validation & Technical Debug

  • Support validation of DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, Display, Camera, SerDes, storage, and other critical interfaces
  • Analyze logs, traces, measurements, and platform behavior
  • Support low-level debugging and integration validation
  • Verify effectiveness of corrective actions    

6. Technical Knowledge Development

  • Capture hardware/software integration lessons learned
  • Develop integration guidelines and debugging methodologies
  • Promote reusable integration knowledge and best practices
  • Support hardware platform capability development
Qualifikationen
Qualification

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines
  • Fluent Chinese and good English communication skills required

Experience

1. Hardware Platform Development Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive electronics, embedded systems, or hardware platform development
  • Experience supporting board bring-up and platform enablement activities
  • Experience with Cockpit, ADAS, Domain Controller, or High-Performance Computing platforms preferred
  • Experience supporting products from prototype stage through validation

2. Hardware & Software Integration Experience

  • Experience working with BSP, firmware, or embedded software teams
  • Familiarity with platform initialization and hardware enablement processes
  • Experience debugging hardware/software interaction issues
  • Experience analyzing low-level platform behavior and system logs

3. Technical Investigation & Debug Experience

  • Experience investigating complex cross-domain technical issues
  • Strong root cause analysis capability
  • Experience determining issue ownership across hardware, software, and supplier domains
  • Experience supporting validation and product maturity activities

  • Technical issue coordination and escalation
