Role Overview 

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the D.E.S. eCOM SDK initiative for the Mercedes-Benz App within the Car Sales domain. The successful candidate will design, automate and operate reliable AWS cloud environments, container platforms and infrastructure-as-code solutions. This role is suited to a hands-on engineer who can work closely with software development and platform stakeholders to improve delivery speed, stability, scalability and operational quality.

Qualifications 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure, scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Build and improve CI/CD workflows that enable reliable application build, test and deployment processes.
• Create, manage and version infrastructure using Terraform and established infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Build, deploy and operate containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment readiness, environment consistency and release
  quality.
• Monitor platform health, investigate incidents and implement preventive improvements to reliability and
  performance.
• Apply cloud security, access control, configuration management and operational best practices throughout the
  delivery lifecycle.
• Document technical designs, operational procedures and reusable automation standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through automation, standardization and knowledge sharing across
  teams.

Required Experience and Skills

• More than 5 years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering or a comparable
  role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-based DevOps practices.
• Strong practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production or enterprise environments.
• Strong experience using Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts, automated deployments and source control workflows.
• Good understanding of cloud networking, identity and access management, security and observability
  concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across applications, containers and cloud infrastructure.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with local and global stakeholders.
