Job Overview:
The Dealer Credit Account Manager is responsible for supporting daily operational activities related to the dealer credit lifecycle. This role focuses on managing account-level tasks, assisting with credit line maintenance, monitoring compliance, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of administrative functions. The position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of dealer credit operations and supporting internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and supporting both retail and wholesale dealer setup processes. This includes ensuring accurate execution of contracts, proper setup of bank accounts, assignment of site contacts, and ongoing maintenance of dealer addresses. For wholesale borrowers, responsibilities include comprehensive setup and validation of legal entities, organizational hierarchies, linked bank accounts, designated site contacts, and payment sources to ensure accuracy and compliance throughout the onboarding process. (35%)
Communicate proactively with dealers and internal teams to resolve account-related inquiries or issues in a timely and professional manner. This includes researching discrepancies, providing status updates, coordinating across departments, and ensuring a high level of customer service and operational accuracy. (15%)
Maintain strong cross-functional collaboration with Sr. Dealer Credit Analysts, Dealer Credit Analysts, Dealer Relations Managers, Regional Dealer Relation Managers, and Finance partners.(15%)
Participate in the training and development of system enhancements by providing user feedback, assisting with testing, and supporting the rollout of new tools and processes. Help onboard new team members by delivering system training, sharing best practices, and ensuring consistent application of procedures across the team. (15%)
Support the establishment of credit lines in coordination with Dealer Credit Analysts (DCAs) and Dealer Relationship Managers (DRMs). This includes ensuring that collateral locations are accurately recorded and that documentation packages are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational integrity and ensuring the efficiency of dealer credit operations. (20%)
Qualifications:
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
This position requires a minimum of 3 years of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:
- Accounting: 1 year
- Administration: 2 years
- Audit: 2 years
- Credit: 1 year
- Customer Service: 3 years
Education:
High School Diploma/(GED) is required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Recommended majors include:
- Accounting
- Business Administration
- Finance
Skills:
- Analytical skills
- Ability to collect data and establish fact and identify trends and variances
- Problem solving skills
Additional Skills:
Extensive knowledge of financial software systems and internal applications required
