Lead the in-vehicle infotainment software platform product planning, definition and development for vehicle and driving functions.
Has great vision and sense of future software platform of in-vehicle infotainment, understand and foresee the future requirements and needs from both internal customers (services & applications of IVI) and the external end customer.
Responsible for vehicle/driving function product feature and function planning and definition (Vehicle Settings, Driving Experience, Energy Management, Charging, Vehicle Status, Trip Computer, Driver Assistance HMI).
• Scouting IVI vehicle/driving function related advanced technologies and landing them to products (e.g., intelligent energy management, predictive driving assistance HMI, vehicle health prediction, smart charging strategies)
• Coordinate stakeholders and resources to realize.
Work closely with function and development teams on enabling and improving the vehicle/driving function products.
Collaborate with powertrain, chassis, ADAS, and body domain controllers teams to ensure seamless integration of vehicle functions into the IVI platform.
• Cross domain collaboration and cooperate with cross domain and other teams such as vehicle architecture, powertrain, chassis, ADAS, information security, and functional safety to confirm relevant design matching for vehicle and driving functions.
Education
Bachelor degree or above (including degree), major in electrical engineering, computer sciences, automation, mechatronics, vehicle engineering, automotive engineering, electronics or software.
Experience
At least 5 years working experience in product management, definition, innovation of vehicle functions, driving experience, energy management, charging, vehicle settings, or HMI features and specifications in the automotive industry.
Knowledge
Enthusiastic about In-vehicle infotainment and smart cockpit related products and solutions, especially vehicle and driving function domains.
Good working experience in defining software products for vehicle functions.
Good knowledge and experience in customer facing product and services defining and development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in software product management.
Good knowledge in vehicle E/E architecture, powertrain systems, energy management, or chassis control systems.
Good knowledge in In-vehicle infotainment software system and software development.
Experience in definition and design of software product, services, applications and user experiences related to vehicle functions.
Proficient in vehicle function domains such as Vehicle Settings, Driving Mode, Energy Management, Charging, Trip Computer, Vehicle Health Management, and Driver Assistance HMI integration.
Familiar with CAN/LIN/Ethernet vehicle communication protocols and signal-level vehicle function integration.
Experience of End-to-end and lifecycle product development, feature integration and testing.
