Job Overview

 

Vehicle Data & Strategy Consultant will support strategic decision-making across our Retail & Logistics operations through data and analytics. In this role, you will leverage internal and external data sources to uncover insights, identify trends, and drive performance improvements across sales, logistics, and remarketing initiatives.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with departments including Sales, Finance, and Mercedes-Benz Financial Services to develop data-driven strategies, build impactful dashboards, and support executive-level reporting. This is a high-visibility role ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a passion for turning data into actionable insights.

 

 

Position Overview

This is a high-visibility role ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a passion for turning data into actionable insights.

 


Key Responsibilities

 

•    Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and opportunities across retail sales, off-lease programs, and new car initiatives.
•    Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI and Databricks to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
•    Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic planning and operational improvements.
•    Collaborate across the organization to assess the feasibility and impact of new business initiatives.
•    Provide insights into market values and remarketing strategies to optimize vehicle lifecycle performance.
•    Support senior leadership with data-driven presentations, reports, and recommendations.
•    Ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting and facilitate enhancements through appropriate channels.
•    Assist with ad hoc analyses, special projects, and executive-level data requests.
 

Qualifikationen

Qualifications

 

Education & Experience:

•    Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, finance, computer science, mathematics, accounting, or a related field.
•    0–3 years of relevant professional experience.


 

Technical Skills:

•    Basic programming knowledge in SQL, Python, R
•    Proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools: Databricks, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau.
•    Strong Excel skills and a foundational understanding of statistical methods.

 


Business & Analytical Skills:

•    Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
•    Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
•    Understanding of strategic planning, financial indicators, and process improvement techniques.
•    Automotive industry knowledge is a plus but not required.

 


Communication & Collaboration:

 

•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Ability to present complex data in a clear and compelling manner to stakeholders at all levels.
