Job Overview

Plans and designs facility construction and maintenance projects. Prepares proposals for new project opportunities. Analyzes proposals for structural reliability, resource efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Supports daily operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

·         Plans and designs civil engineering projects

·         Prepares proposals for projects and estimates expenses

·         Evaluates and reports project progress and recommends improvements

·         Analyzes proposed project plan designs and construction for quality and adherence to standards

·         Provides technical support for structural analysis and failure analysis of buildings

·         Creates detailed project plans and specifications for new construction projects

·         Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings Will perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Facilities Engineering or similar engineering discipline. 3-5 years of experience

Knowledge and Skills

·         Civil Engineering, Construction Management, capital project management, facilities engineering, and/or maintenance management.

·         Skilled in developing, writing, reviewing, and executing facility capital initiatives.

·         Candidate must possess excellent communication skills to provide insight and consultation across operational and project teams.

·         Facilities management experience. Experience with Standard AIA Contract Documents and Construction Delivery Methods used in the United States
