The professional objective of this job is to lead the development of the MAX project’s charging UI/UX, acting as the function owner responsible for defining the system architecture and signal flow across charging system, CIVIC and edrive for Max charging features.

Your task is to lead Mercedes-Benz China MAX UIUX charging project for charging system; Your diverse tasks and responsibilities include the following:

MAX project PHEV variant charging features UIUX function owner

·       Based on feature list, provide technical feasibility check

·       Provide solution in system requirement and create SLH 

·       Manage development coordination with all related systems and interfaces

·       Testing and validation for the function

MAX project AMG variant charging features UIUX function owner 

·       Based on feature list, provide technical feasibility check

·       Provide solution in system requirement and create SLH 

·       Manage development coordination with all related systems and interfaces

·       Testing and validation for the function

Charging feature function owners of existing BEV platform 

·       Function owner: Orchestrate charging setting

·       Function owner: Charging reservation and ground lock control via HU and App

Work together with charging team and cross-functional departments like product planning, quality and logistics, setup project milestones as well as coordinating activities to pursue tight time schedules
 

Qualification

Education

·       Master’s degree or above in Automotive, electrical, or mechatronics engineering

Experience

·       At least 5 years vehicle charging function development experience.

Specific Knowledge

·       Proven experience in function design for interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) tailored to vehicle charging applications.

·       In-depth understanding of vehicle charging systems, including extensive knowledge of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) and charging platforms (eMSP).

·       Strong project management abilities, including planning and organizational skills.

·       Familiarity with cybersecurity requirements pertinent to digital vehicle functions.

·       Knowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) standards to ensure compliance with industry and Mercedes-Benz quality processes for suppliers.

·       Native proficiency in Chinese, with fluent English language skills; German language proficiency is an advantage.

·       Demonstrated intercultural competence and effective communication skills across various organizational levels.
