The Charging System Responsible is accountable for the overall development, integration and delivery of the charging system within Plug-In vehicle projects.
The role ensures seamless integration of charging-related components, software functions and system requirements into a complete charging system solution. Acting as the central technical coordination point, the position aligns component responsible engineers, function owners, software development teams and project stakeholders to achieve technical, timing, quality and cost targets.
The position drives charging system maturity throughout the complete vehicle development process and ensures readiness for vehicle integration, validation and series production.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in automotive charging systems, HV systems or EE system development.
- Experience in system integration and technical project management.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering teams.
Experience working with suppliers and international development organizations.
Specific Knowledge
- Strong technical understanding of charging systems and charging-related vehicle functions.
- Solid knowledge of charging components such as OBC, charging interfaces, charging communication modules and HV distribution.
- Understanding of charging software architecture, diagnostics and software integration processes.
- Knowledge of vehicle EE architecture and system engineering methodologies.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with CANoe, CANape, DTS Monaco and relevant engineering tools is beneficial.
- Fluent English and Chinese; German is a plus.
- Strong communication and intercultural collaboration skills.
