Job Objective

• Body EE System Speaker and Technical Lead for vehicle-level EE system integration (Exterior), ensuring end-to-end ownership from concept definition to series production and system management.
• Lead the development and EE integration of Body EE customer functions and systems, including but not limited to:

            - Electric Running Board

            - Dimming Glass

            - Inner mirror

            - External lighting system

• Own system specification, requirement engineering, architecture definition, system design, verification, validation, release management, and production support for Body EE systems and ECUs.
• Serve as the system technical interface across multiple engineering domains, coordinating hardware, software, mechanical, HMI, cybersecurity, functional safety, homologation, testing, production, and supplier teams to ensure seamless feature delivery.
• Translate customer expectations into vehicle-level functions and derive system requirements, interfaces, component allocations, and integration concepts while ensuring clear system boundaries and responsibilities.
• Drive cross-functional technical alignment between China, Germany, and external partners, ensuring robust integration of Body EE features across vehicle platforms and carlines.
• Organize regular technical exchanges with R&D headquarters, cross-domain engineering teams, and suppliers to resolve issues, manage risks, and secure project milestones.

Qualifications 

Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in automotive Body EE system area, with proven expertise in ECU and/or security module development.

Specific Knowledge

• Proficient in electronic and software design for Body EE ECUs. Deep understanding of communication and diagnostic protocols (CAN, LIN, ETH). The development task in EE scope requires candidates onboard with necessary knowhow, e.g. understanding communication and diagnostic protocol (CAN, LIN, ETH)
• Familiar with HiL testing, testbench setup and system troubleshooting.
• Familiar with MDS process/ localization process/change management process of Mercedes-benz
• Experience with PDM systems e.g. Dialog/Smaragd/ACM/Start
• Experience with Vector toolchain (CANoe, CANape, CANdela), and E/E architecture topology. Knowledge of security concepts: secure boot, key management, hardware security modules (HSM), and cryptographic algorithms.
• Chinese native speaker with fluent English language in spoken and written and high management presentation skills
• Self-responsibility, team player and good communication skills.
