Objective of Job

• ADAS Parking Algorithm development, integration and validation with strong focus on state machine design, trajectory planning and vehicle control for both Automated Parking Assist, Remote Parking, Meomery Parking.
• Coorperating with ADAS system team to analyze the design of system requirement.
• Analysing and build up data- driven development framework to iteratively improve the function performance.
• Cooperation with system and testing, to trace and solve the SW issues.

Task Description

ADAS Parking Algorithm development, integration and validation with strong focus on state machine design, trajectory planning and vehicle control for both Automated Parking Assist, Remote Parking, Memory Parking

• Develop and optimize algorithms to plan and optimize the parking trajectories and controller performance, in particular for China specific scenarios
• Analyzing and evaluation the requirements of the adjacent software modules on the parking algorithms, and in cooperation with the software runtime architects, derive new algorithmic concepts as well as the optimal interaction of algorithms.  
• Perform simulation and in- vehicle testing and tuning on the performance

Coorperating with ADAS system team to analyze the design of system requirement.

• Review the system requirement and provide technical and feasibility feedback
• Create Software design and requirements in system

Cooperation with system and testing, to trace and solve the SW issues.

• Analyze the state machine, Plan&Control related feature issue after ADAS/AD road testing
• Debug and fix the feature issue, track the issue status, validate the fixed algorithm by SIL/HIL and vehicle test, manage the tickets.

Qualification

• Master in Automotive/ Electronics/ Control Science and Engineering / Robotics Engineering, Computing Sciences Engineering
• Fluent English language skills
• At least 2 year work experience in AD/ADAS software development, on hands experience with parking relevant functions
• Familiar with start-of-the-art planning (A*, EM, Lattice, etc) and control (MPC, LQR, PID, etc) algorithms in autonomous driving with development experience.
• Knowledge on the general working principle of vision and ultrasonic perception system is preferred
• Strong skill in C/C++ programming and scripting languages (Python among others) with large software system development experience.
• Experience with source code management, unit testing, code review and issue tracking systems.
• Intercultural competence and communication skills with various hierarchy levels
• In dependent and proactive working style, willingness to travel inside China and abroad.
