Main Tasks
IT Landscape and Methods:
• Define IT landscape and methods for the company to achieve synergy, efficiency and standardization considering Mercedes-Benz standard applications and solutions from the various ITS units.
• Develop and optimize the local business processes, function, data and technology working models and processes.
• Implement system development methods to ensure a harmonized and efficient translation of business requirements into solutions.
• Guide the team members to implement and support business needs in respect to new systems and enhancements.
IT Operation:
• Plan, build and run relevant applications for the company leveraging the Mercedes-Benz global teams.
• Implement and monitor IT Applications and Systems as per agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Ensure that local business requirements are implemented in a cost¬-effective manner by suitably leveraging on central, regional and local services.
• Manage and implement relevant mainstream technology elements.
IT Projects and Governance:
• Execute, monitor and track IT Software projects.
• Ensure IT Software projects adhere to budget, time and quality targets
• Plan development resources according to business needs.
• Ensure proper project handling and change process in respect to locally developed systems or enhancements.
• Support all central applications as first level of support to insure business continuity
Vendor Management:
• Manage of contracts with external partners to ensure a cost-effective service and support model in line with the expected service level agreements.
• Act as first line of contact in regards to software support vendors.
IT Security:
• Manage the cyber security KPIs and measures for the local applications as the technical owner in respect to Mercedes-Benz standards.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
• Bachelor degree in IT Field or a similar degree in the same area of responsibility
Technical Knowledge
• 5-8 years of experience in the IT field with 2 Years fulfilling similar tasks and responsibilities
• Clear business knowledge with the ability of problem analysis and problem solving
• Experience in business solutions/demands management and dealing with service providers
• Software development background is required
• Awareness of infrastructure and security measures
• ERP demands management experience is preferable
• Experience in SQL and data visualization
• Proficient in Microsoft Power Platform, with focus on Power Automate
