Method and algorithm development, integration and validation with strong focus on vehicle control for both driving and active safety features.
Development on vehicle control algorithms from planned trajectory to chassis control interface for series product.
Establish and continuously improve data-driven based development framework to iteratively improve control system.
Define and maintain chassis actuator functional and performance requirements, including front steering and rear steering system. Analyze track and drive resolution of actuator-related issues, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders
Cooperation with relevant internal and external algorithm experts mainly in China and Germany for automated driving and driver assistance systems.
Working with the onsite project team and counter-teams in Germany and the supplier requirements for autonomous driving systems.
Education
- Master in vehicle engineering, robotics, electrical engineering or a related field.
Experience
- Industrial experience in robotics or ADAS/AD software development.
- Development experience on ADAS function (e.g, LSS, ESS, NGA, etc,).
- Familiar with control (MPC, LQR, PID, etc,) algorithms in autonomous driving with development experience, have base knowledge about start-of-the-art planning.
- Hands on development experience AD platforms (ROS, Autoware, Apollo, etc.)
- Practical knowledge of software engineering on Linux/QNX preferred.
§ Specific Knowledge
- Chinese native speaker with fluent English language skills, German language beneficial.
- Strong skill in C++ programming and scripting languages (Python among others)
- Experience with source code management, unit testing, code review and issue tracking systems.
- Experience with ADAS Chassis control interface (ESP, EPS, etc,)
- Inter-cultural competence and communication skills with various hierarchy levels.
- Independent and proactive working style, willingness to travel inside China and abroad to conduct system testing.
